Scary scene in Detroit as Dylan Larkin left motionless
A scary scene occured during tonight's game between the Ottawa Senators and Detroit Red Wings. With the Red Wings on the powerplay, the Red Wings are pressing. As the puck is frozen by the Senators goaltender, Dylan Larkin gets tangled up with Mathieu Joseph and Parker Kelly.
On the play it appears Larkin is hit from both the back and front. Larkin slowly slumps to the ice before falling motionless to try ice.
Over his career Larkin has had both neck issues and concussion problems. After a stretcher was eventually brought out for Larkin, he eventually made his way to his feet and was assisted off the ice to the dressing room.
On the play Kelly and Joseph were both given minor penalties while David Perron was given a major penalty for his response.
