With decades of success, millions of records and entrepreneurial side to him, when International Hip-Hop star Snoop Dogg talks, the National Hockey League should listen, especially when it comes to how they market their premier players, like Connor McDavid.

Snoop, who's estimated worth is in the neighborhood of $135 million dollars has an array of business ventures and investments including operating a youth football league since 2005 and most recently disclosed that he is part of an investment group led by film producer Neko Sparks to purchase the National Hockey Leagues Ottawa Senators, knows how to market himself.

The Doggs recent comments should be cause for concern with Gary Bettman as he didn't hold back his feelings in terms of their lack of exposure throughout the world <> If you've been a fan of the National Hockey League for any length of time, you'll remember when Wayne Gretzky left for the Los Angeles Kings that he was a world-wide symbol for the National Hockey League and the game of hockey as a whole.

As long as Gary Bettman is in charge of the National Hockey League, their marketing department will continue to fail at marketing their top players, but here's an idea, hire Snoop Dogg as head of marketing.
