When something tragic happens, there's some things you just don't do, especially if it's in regards to a recently deceased family mender.
Today, Sportsnet's Sam Cosentino released his April draft rankings and for most players he focused on their hockey skills, that is until he got to Matvei Michkov who's projected to go 3rd overall in this years draft, take a look:
Kind of a gutless thing to say here.. how bout you focus on the player and not the personal life?
While he focused on other prospects hockey accomplishments, you know Bedard being Bedard, Adam Fantilli winning the Hobey Baker and Matvei Michkov, unsure of how he'll cope with the passing of his father.
Cosentino, needs to learn two things here, the first one obviously being tack and the second being, if you're going to focus on hockey accomplishments for every other prospect, (as you should) you never under any circumstance single a player and a person out with the most tragic thing in that persons life.
Michkov has enough going on right now, the last thing he needs is to see the passing of his father publicized yet again, rather than I don't know maybe his hockey accomplishments going into his draft year.
This is one of the most apprehensible things I've ever seen. There's a line you just don't cross.
