The Ottawa Senators interested in trading for Karlsson
The Ottawa Senators are an up and coming young team with very few leaders in the locker room, they were expected to take a step forward during the 2021-22 National Hockey League Campaign, but sadly that didn't materialize how everyone hoped. Could they look at bringing in a point producing forward to (hopefully) change things?
According to Bruce Garrioch, a name the Sens are interested in is Vegas Golden Knights forward, William Karlsson.
Karlsson, 29, has 5 years remaining on his deal with Vegas and carries a cap hit of 5.9 million dollars.
Karlsson's production has dwindled since his standout 2017-18 campaign in which he had a career high 78 points in 82 games played with Vegas, however, he's still not a bad point producer as he finished with 12 goals and 23 for 35 points. Plus, it is possible he regains his form with a new team, my only concern would be cap hit for the Sens
