The Vancouver Canucks are near the bottom of the western conference and as such are going to be sellers at the deadline, that much we know, but it appears they haven't given up on trying to sign their star centre to an extension.
According to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet during the intermission has said that the Canucks haven't given up on potentially re-signing Bo Horvat, take a look:
Friedman does admit that it is unlikely that Vancouver re-signs with the Canucks, especially because they will not go any higher than what they offered J.T Miller in the summer. Seattle could be a possible fit if (when) a deal with Vancouver doesn't happen.
Horvat, 27, has skated in 38 games with the Canucks this season, amid the speculation, he has 28 goals and 15 assists for a total of 43 points.
Whoever ends up getting Horvat will be getting a Bonafide in the league.
