Things get heated as Martin Pospisil gets ejected for a dangerous hit on Brad Marchand
The National Hockey League is coming out of the Allstar break with a bang after only 2 games last night, there's 8 games tonight.
In one of the early games, Calgary is in Boston to face off against the Bruins and Flames forward Martin Pospisil gets ejected after a dangerous hit on Bruins captain, Brad Marchand; take a look.
Pospisil received a 5 minute major and a game misconduct for cross-checking during a scrum in which he entered late and caught Marchand on the button. Marchand went down and everyone grabbed a partner.
It wouldn't surprise me if Pospisil got a call from the NHL's Department of Player Safety in the morning, although you never know with their hit and Miss track record.
