Yesterday, the Vancouver Canucks placed forward Lane Pederson on waivers hoping he'd sneak through, but that wasn't the case.
Today, the Columbus Blue Jackets claimed him off of waivers from Vancouver according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, take a look:
Pederson, 25, played in 11 games for the Canucks this season, collecting 3 points including 1 goal and two assists.
Pederson played with Vancouver last night when they were taking on the Blue Jackets, they must've liked what they saw in order to put a claim in on the forward.
With Gustav Nyquist on injured reserve, this is likely just an insurance move to fill a roster spot, but nonetheless, it's pretty funny that a day after facing him, Columbus made the claim.
As for the Canucks, things continue to get worse for the organization as a whole.
