Top NHL insider has his Twitter account hacked
One of the NHL's top insiders and former goaltender Kevin Weekes has had his Twitter account hacked on Monday afternoon.
An ominous tweet was posted on Weekes' account about a giveaway of ten MacBook Pro's for $600 and to direct message him for more information. As can also be seen, Weekes' account has been made private and no one can comment on the post.
"Hello Twitter family! I have a special promotion going on! I have 10 MacBook Pro's on sale for $600. On top of that I will be signing every MacBook that is sold, also free shipping is included! All proceeds will be going to charity! My DMs are opened."
This is a good time to remind people to update your security settings on your social media accounts and to add two-factor authentication to avoid situations like this happening to you.
