Junior hockey is full of young people with something to prove, wether that's to move up or, just to let anger out, junior leagues tend to have a lot of hot headed teenagers. This leads to some of the best fights you'll ever see.
Recently, in the NEAJBHL widely regarded as the toughest junior league around, two combatants let everything fly, take a look per world hockey report:
These two really went for it, one player even punched the other while he was on one knee, which in most leagues is against the code.
The horn at the end is iconic and is used to mark the end of a tilt, personally I love fighting like this when there's extra passion involved.
Some will disagree and say Hockey has evolved past the point that fight last are needed, but sometimes, this is how players provide value to their teams. To take that away wouldn't be the right thing.
