The Vancouver Canucks have had a serious dilemma since the end of last season. The team has to decide what to do with forward JT Miller. It all started with the Canucks terrible season and rumors behind the scenes that there was trouble between Miller and Bo Horvat
Both Horvat and Miller denied the rumor and downplayed the rift, but when there is smoke there is often fire. The rumors continued heading into the off-season. Now as the 2022-23 season approaches Canucks General Manager Patrik Alvin has a big dilemma on what to do with with JT Miller who is heading into the final year of his contract and will be an unrestricted free agent next summer.
Credit:NHL Trade Rumors revealed that the New York Islanders and General Manager Lou Lamoriello are very interested in bringing Miller to the Island. So much so they have reportedly offered Noah Dobson and and a high pick to the Canucks in return.
Lamoriello believes the Islanders can compete this season adding Miller to the line-up with Matt Barzel would be a very high octane offence. If Lamoriello can't get Miller sources say they will likely pursue Nazem Kadri.
