Vincent Trocheck hilariously taunts member of the New York Islanders after he takes a penalty
The New York Rangers and New York Islanders are two of the fiercest rivals in the NHL. The two teams don't care for each other and often find new and unique ways to dislike one and other. During tonight's game Vincent Trocheck found a new way to add to the rivalry.
After Alex Romanov took a simple penalty for delay of game, Trocheck decided a simple taunt was his best course of action. Trocheck gave Romanov the simplest of thumbs up as he headed to the box.
The linesmen was able to come between the two before anything more developed but this is something to watch.
The Rangers would come up empty on the powerplay and shortly after Romanov would score his first goal of the season. So it seems like Romanov got the last laugh.
