Alex Pietrangelo catches Tyler Seguin with another cheap shot
Alex Pietrangelo has developed a reputation as the type of player who listens plays on the edge. Over the last couple of years though Pietrangelo has started to cross the line more frequently. Tonight, Pietrangelo added another dirty play to his highlight reel.
Late in the second period as Tyler Seguin delivers a big hit into the end boards. Rather than simply absorbing the hit, Pietrangelo overreacts and swings his hand around striking Seguin directly in the face. After the blow Seguin falls to the ice immediately clutching his face.
Pietrangelo gets 2 minutes for roughing on Tyler Seguin
Jason Robertson immediately made Pietrangelo regret the decision as he scored what would be the game winning goal.
