Boston Bruins' Brad Marchand Fires Back at Radio Host who reported a Rift Between Him and David Pastrnak

Brad Marchand of the Boston Bruins is taking a radio host to task after a report that teammate David Pastrnak refused to play on the same line with him
A report on Friday which indicated there was a major rift within the Boston Bruins has been called out by one of the players named in the report.
David Pastrnak has already addressed the report, emphatically shutting it down.
Brad Marchand has now also spoken out, and he is clearly not happy with what was said.
Marchand is often tongue-in-cheek, or even snarky when talking with the media. However, he was very serious in addressing the report.
"It's unfortunate. I know reporters have a job to do. That job is to report on the team and, usually, you try to be fact-based. But when there's just blatant lies told in the media. That's where there's a problem. The fact that this guy has a platform, and he's just making stuff up, is embarrassing.
There's zero truth to what he said on the radio. This is how you lose your job very quickly. The fact that he's going to have a job after this is insane."
WEEI's Rich Keefe was the originator of the report. He said Marchand and Pastrnak, the Bruins two biggest stars, aren't getting along, and that Pastrnak had told the team he doesn't want to play on the same line with Marchand.
"The locker room is a disaster, and David Pastrnak is at the center of that. David Pastrnak has told the team he doesn't want to be on a line with Brad Marchand, and it may stem from Brad Marchand calling out Pastrnak for some of his play."
There have been no comments from WEEI or Rich Keefe on Marchand's response to the report.
