Don Cherry and his family suffer major tragedy
Don Cherry and his family have suffered a major tragedy as his daughter Cynthia has passed away.
Don Cherry is a Canadian Icon, one of the most recognizable Canadian figures. Once featured weekly on Coaches Corner on Hockey Night in Canada, Cherry now provides his hockey takes on his Grapevine Podcast. However, that podcast may be on hold as the family deals with a tragedy of its own.
This week news surfaced that Cynthia Cherry, daughter of Don passed away. The news surfaced on X as the following details surfaced.
Passed away unexpectedly at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga on Monday, July 15, 2024 at the age of 67.
She was dearly loved by her son Del (Caroline Lyczek), and his father Roger. Much loved daughter of Don and the late Rose. Dear sister of Tim (Ling), and aunt of Grace.
Cynthia was 64 at the time of her passing. Our thoughts and prayers for out to the Cherry Family during this difficult time.
