Fanatics tries to sell fans on new jerseys in the worst possible way
Fanatics have become the new jersey supplier of the National Hockey League and to market their partnership with the NHL they took it upon themselves to walk the streets of Las Vegas during draft week to gauge what fans felt about the new threads and it went as well as you could imagine.
it is evident that either the fans are not familiar with how well past partners created and put together the jerseys, or they're just poorly paid actors doing an abysmal job at trying to sell a product that you shouldn't even consider putting your dog in. However, sometimes at first glance can be deceiving, so you be the judge.
Fanatics needs a new marketing director if they feel that this is the way to go to show that the apparel they have created is up to standards and should be worn by professionals and bought by casual and diehard fans.
When you're given the opportunity at free merchandise, it's hard to badmouth the company that has extended the opportunity to you, even if it's true. You can give Fanatics the benefit of the doubt for now, but they're in over their head already and need to go back to the drawing board on so many levels to salvage what they can. Nobody in their right mind will want to buy or wear poorly made products with their hard-earned money, especially with their favourite teams' name attached to it.
