fire alarm creates havoc at hotel where AHL team is staying
The American Hockey League regular season has nearly commenced, with most teams having less than 25 games remaining before playoffs begin, and with that, some very big games will be happening in the next number of weeks as teams continue to jockey for position, so what happened in Toronto could be called a coincidence, but maybe not.
During the Laval Rocket stay in Toronto before their game against the Toronto Marlies, which has playoff implications of a possible four points, it was reported that the fire alarm within the hotel the Rocket were staying at began to go off sometime overnight.
While many believe in conspiracy theories and others believe in coincidences, this may have just been a false alarm, and it was set off with an abundance of caution in mind. However, it should be noted that the Marlies lead the Rocket in the standings by one point with two games in hand.
The Marlies host the Rocket at the Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto on Sunday. The puck drops at 4pm.
