The trade deadline is less than a month away and there's no doubt there will be a lot of action. Especially with the players that are on the board. One player that is likely going to be on the move to a different city is Pittsburgh Penguins star forward, Jake Guentzel. It appears the asking price has been set as well.

Recently on the 32 Thoughts Podcast, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman mentioned the asking price for Guentzel will probably sit what the Florida Panthers paid for Claude Giroux a couple of years ago; take a look.

Friedman on 32TP: «Dubas is sitting there, he's saying, look, if you want Guentzel, I want the Giroux deal»

Flyers got a 1st & 3rd RDer and Tippett for Giroux.

Guentzel, 29, has skated in 49 games for the Penguins this season collecting a total of 51 points that includes 22 goals and 29 assists.

Guentzel is most likely worth that haul if a team is going to trade for him, but general manager Kyle Dubas has a reputation of not being liked, so I wonder if a team forces him to take less?

Either way, it looks like Guentzel's time in Pittsburgh is coming to an end.
