The attack on former NHLer Paul Bissonnette has uncovered a dangerous group of individuals, and now those people are facing quite serious charges.

This past week has been a wild one in the NHL, with so many shocking stories to go around, but the biggest of all was the shocking attack on Paul Bissonnette by a group of men at a bar in Scottsdale.

Details of the men were then revealed, and this became a much bigger story than initially expected, with their crimes being well documented over the past few years as Bissonnette revealed he would continue to pursue them in a court of law.

Now, we have yet another update on the situation, as the six men involved potentially face much more serious charges now in Maricopa County after new evidence was unveiled.

«We have some additional information,» Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell said when asked Monday about the case. «I'm very aware of it. We definitely will be staffing that shortly to look at the new evidence that we have.»

It's unclear exactly what the new evidence and charges will be related too, but days after the brawl involving Bissonnette, security footage was leaked on social media of the men involved earlier that day at a Scottsdale golf course causing trouble as well, so it's safe to say that will somehow be involved.

This story has already had so many twists and turns, and with Biz and the Barstool Sports company insisting that they will pursue plenty of legal action, we are far from over, and with new evidence coming to light after what we already know about these men, it's safe to say that this could get a whole lot wilder moving forward.
