Minnesota Wild and Philadelphia Flyers complete a first round trade
The Minnesota Wild and Philadelphia Flyers have completed a trade during the first round of tonight's draft.
Nhl draft rankings are extremely subjective and one position in the draft can be enough to cost you the player you truly want. That's exactly what the Minnesota Wild felt could happen tonight and encourage them to pursue a trade with the Philadelphia Flyers. On the draft floor with the Flyers up to select Minnesota completed a trade to move up in the draft.
The Minnesota Wild were able to move up to the 12th overall pick via trade.
#Flyers have traded No. 12 overall to #mnwild in exchange for No. 13 and a 2025 3rd Rd Pick.
The Minnesota Wild immediately used the pick to select Zeev Buium.
