The top jersey sales are as follows:
1. Connor Bedard
2. Jack Hughes
3. Artemi Panarin
4. Auston Matthews
5. Mika Zibanejad
It should be no surprise to who number one is as Connor Bedard has been billed as a generational player and although he's on a team that is currently struggling he's shown tremendous flashes of brilliance in the games he's played when healthy. Jack Hughes is arguably the best Hughes brother in the National Hockey League and could be a top five player in this league at this current moment, but he plays for an underachieving team in New Jersey. Artemi Panarin speaks for himself. Like this season he's usually at or near the top in. points for the New York Rangers and has been remarkably consistent. Auston Matthews is the best American born player since Patrick Kane burst into the league. The multi time Rocket Richard winner who has also won the Hart, Ted Lindsay and Calder is well on his way to winning another Rocket Richard trophy. To round out the list is Mika Zibanejad. Zibanejad has had up and down number during his career, but he's been fun to watch wherever he goes as he puts his head down to work.
All this to say that jersey sales are as much about what the player does on the ice as it is a popularity contest. The National Hockey League does a good job promoting their players and whether yiu like a guy or a jersey, it is evident that jersey sales of certain players won't go away any time soon,
