The Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins are minutes away from dropping the puck for game one of their first round playoff series during warm-up Pat Maroon Issued a challenge to the leafs by breaking and unwritten And crossing the red line as the teams were warming up.
This most definitely was a challenge and not to the leafs being soft and generally pretty easy to play against when it comes to playoff hockey. We'll see if things change this year but the Boston Bruins and Pat Maroon specifically are playing games; take a look.
#NHLBruins Pat Maroon crossing the red line in warmups as if he's saying, Do something about it!'
The leafs were second and hits this season behind only the Florida Panthers something that hasn't happened in quite a long time suggesting that they should be tougher to play against, but the playoffs are different animal altogether, and they haven't proven they can handle the physical toughness and the speed of the second season.
We'll see what happens. We are moments away from puck drop game one on paper. It should be a pretty series, but as they say, especially in the playoffs games have to be played before the series is decided.
