Patrick Kane ripped for overtime celebration
This past Sunday, Patrick Kane visited the United Center for the first time since joining the Detroit Red Wings and while he had the last laugh in the form of the overtime winner, it appears what he did during the celebration after he scored is something that may have people up in arms.
As one can see in the video attached, Kane seems to yell out his nickname as his arms are raised and he gestures to the crowd in what can only be described as a mocking tone.
While it should be emphasized that Kane has earned the right to do almost whatever he wants on the ice, it is a bad look and quite frankly just a dick move from the future first-ballot hall of famer.
To be clear, he should be able to celebrate the goal that allowed his new team to beat his old team, but as he has been in the league since the 2007-2008 season, he is aware that sometimes celebrating too robustly can backfire and that next time you play the team you showed up, it may be wise to have your head on a swivel.
