The Tampa Bay Lightning and Ottawa Senators game got a little chippy tonight, with players exchanging words and hits.
First, Ridly Greig was cutting across the ice and was met by Erik Cernak. He was then sent flying into the boards. Secondly, Braden Point crushed Erik Brannstrom. Brannstrom and Point then spoke about the play afterwards, leading to a ref breaking sending them their merry way.
Well, things didn't stop there. Tim Stuzle was going across the middle of the ice. He dodged the first hit, then cut to the left board in front of the Senators bench. Mitchell Chaffee came up to him, but Tim threw him into the boards. Chaffee then took exception to that, putting him in a hold then whipping him down from behind right in front of the Ottawa bench, sending them into a frenzy.
Every once in a while there's a chippy game like this, and you have to love it. The Senators ended up taking this one over the Lightning, 4-2.
