Team Canada is set to face the USA tonight in an epic rivalry showdown, and they have named Jordan Binnington as their starting goaltender.

Montreal welcomes two hot rivalries featuring Canada vs. the United States, while Finland plays Sweden, today. These are the final 4 Nations Faceoff games played at the Bell Centre, as the play moves next Monday to Boston.

Canada beat Sweden but only earned two points, while the United States beat Finland in regulation, earning three points. If the United States wins in regulation, it automatically propels them to Thursday's final.

It has the makings of the most intense preliminary match, as both sides want to showcase dominance.

Canada must guard against the Tkachuk brothers, but, perhaps even more so, reigning Vezina Trophy winner Connor Hellebuyck, stopping 20 out of 21 shots against Finland Thursday.

Jordan Binnington will look to have a stronger regulation performance

Behind the Canadian goal, it seems Jordan Binnington will get the start. Although he had an uneven performance in regulation against Sweden, he lit it up during overtime, finishing out the match with 23 saves out of 26 shots.

Canada must get him going if it has any chance to match the powerful United States offense. Team USA has played the strongest so far, while Canada has an otherworldly team full of All-Stars. But the United States has momentum.

Their first line has been especially lethal, featuring the Tkachuks, alongside Jack Eichel, while in the second line are Auston Matthews, Jake Guentzel, and Jack Hughes. Puck drop time for Canada vs. USA comes tonight at 8 ET.
