"Eetulla will not continue (his hockey career), but he will start doing business" Teemu Selanne said.

He added, "Eetu has a strong desire to do that job. He is a hard boy to work with"

Eetu Selanne, 26, spent five seasons playing college hockey in the United States including two with Northeastern University, before transitioning to Division 3 school Curry College.

In the summer of 2022, Eetu Selanne made the jump to professional hockey, signing a contract with Mestis club Peliitat and then joined his brother Leevi at Hokki Kajaanin for the 2023-24 campaign. In 82 career games in Mestis, Selanne had 27 points (13 goals, 14 assists), 112 penalty minutes and was a minus-25.
