Toronto Maple Leafs and San Jose Sharks closing in on a deal
According to a report, the Toronto Maple Leafs and San Jose Sharks are closing in on a trade that would help both sides out and see Timothy Liljegren get a new start.
With the off-season in full swing and a flurry of deals being made over the past couple of days, it doesn't appear that things will be slowing down anytime soon. The rumours surrounding the Toronto Maple Leafs and defender Timothy Liljegren Have picked up over the last week or so and it seems That Liljegren�s Time in Toronto might be coming to an end.
According to a report made by hockey 24/7 on X the Toronto Maple Leafs and San Jose Sharks are closing on a deal that would send Liljegren to the Sharks in exchange for Mario Ferraro among other pieces.
I will preface this by saying that Hockey 24/7 Is Hit and miss when it comes to trades and rumours, but with it being known that Liljegren is likely on his way out the door this trade does make sense and helps both sides. Liljegren gets a fresh start and will be able to play a lot of minutes in San Jose, which would be good for his development, and Ferraro has been Intermittently linked to the Toronto Maple Leafs for some time.
