The Toronto Maple Leafs have really picked up the pace since coming back from the Allstar break, winning their 7th In a row against the Colorado avalanche last night despite being decimated by injuries and players needed to leave the lineup for various other reasons, but this might be a sign their on the verge of getting healthier.
According to Jonas Siegel of The Athletic defender Max Lajoie is no longer listed on the Maple Leafs active roster; take a look.
Max Lajoie is no longer on the Leafs active roster.
That puts the Leafs at 21 players. Which means one more roster move to accommodate the eventual returns of Mark Giordano, Joseph Woll, and Calle Järnkrok. Lajoie, 26, did a very serviceable job in filling the gaps with on the injuries on the back end collecting 1 assist across 7 games.
This likely means Calle Jarnkrok, Joseph Woll and Mark Giordano are close to returning although the Leafs still need to make one more roster move to accommodate those 3 players returning, but it seems like they'll be coming back relatively soon.
