Bruce Cassidy pays incredible tribute to 2018 Golden Misfits team
When the Vegas Golden Knights entered the NHL in 2018 they were expected to be a long way from competitive. The team who was fittingly coined "The Golden Misfits" were a group thrown together of players other teams didn't want to protect. The 2018 team however shocked everyone going all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals.
The Knights would ultimately lose the Cup Finals to the Washington Capitals, but now they've returned 5 years later and sit 1 win away from winning their first Stanley Cup. To pay tribute to that team, Head Coach Bruce Cassidy set a lineup that would honour that group.
Bruce Cassidy is starting all Golden Misfits tonight. Just wait for the roar when they're announced.

This incredible tribute was well received by the Vegas crowd and now the team needs to come together and win that last game to capture their first Cup.
