Last night when the Colorado Avalanche faced off against the Seattle Kraken in game 6 of their first-round series, the Avalanche opened the scoring, but that wasn't the case.
The goal was wiped out after an offside review, however, the evidence appears to be inconclusive, take a look:
The Kraken win the challenge on Evan Rodrigues' zone entry and Bo Byram's first playoff goal is called back. Thoughts🤔 There are two things I don't like here, 1) is that this play was so close and even if Rodrigues was a hair offside, it was close enough, where it shouldn't matter and 2) the play continued long enough where at a certain point an offside on the entry shouldn't matter.
In any case, the Avalanche won game 6 to force a game 7 back in Colorado but calls this close shouldn't matter, especially in a playoff game.
That's 2 very controversial last night, one in the Florida Panthers-Boston Bruins game and one in the game above.
