Paul Maurice reveals gruesome details about how bad Matthew Tkachuk's injury was after Cup Finals
When Matthew Tkachuk didn't take to the ice for Game 5 it was clear that he was injured. It was going to take something significant to keep him off the ice. After taking a big hit in Game 3, Tkachuk was able to push through and play Game 4, but that was it.
It was clear during Game 4 that Tkachuk didn't have what he needed to be effective. But just how bad was the injury? According to Paul Maurice, Tkachuk was unable to dress himself for Game 4 and needed help putting on his pads and even tying his skates.
But that wasn't everything according to John Buccigross the injury was so bad that brother Brady has to help Matthew out of bed after his pregame nap.
