Breaking News - Jonathan Quick reportedly close to being traded again
Jonathan Quick was traded yesterday to the Columbus Blue Jackets, but near the end of his career he has no interest in going through a rebuild. Now it appears not even 24 hours after being traded to the Blue Jackets that Quick could be on the move again to a contender.
According to David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period, the Blue Jackets are already in advanced conversations to send Quick to the Vegas Golden Knights.
Sounds like there is serious discussion between #CBJ & #VegasBorn about G Jonathan Quick. We'll see where this goes.
The Golden Knights have struggled with injuries in goal even before the season began, losing Robin Lehner to hip surgery. Starting Logan Thompson is currently battling injury and according to the team "is nowhere close to the ice." Now it appears Vegas could be looking at a viable solution in Quick, who would give them a valid option in net.
If Quick were to be dealt to the Knights, there is a very good chance that the Knights and Kings could end up meeting in the playoffs this year.
