Calgary Flames trade Tyler Toffoli to Eastern Conference Stanley Cup contender
The Calgary Flames and new General Manager, Craig Conroy are in an odd situation. Last summer the team made major swings to remain competitive, but fell short of the playoffs. After losing both Matthew Tkachuk and Johnny Gaudreau some regression was to be expected.
Now Conroy is faced with an even more daunting challenge. Noah Hannifin, Tyler Toffoli, Elias Lindholm and Mikael Backlund have all in one way or another told the team they'd be interested in being traded. Today Conroy crossed one of those names off his list.
