Jets reporter shares massive return Winnipeg is getting in Dubois trade
Winnipeg and Los Angeles continue to hammer away at a trade for Pierre Luc-Dubois and Murat Ates of The Athletic has shared the massive haul the Jets will be recieving.
According to Ates, the Jets are set to receive Gabriel Vilardi, Alex Iafallo, as well as Rasmus Kupari, those three being the key pieces in the deal from Los Angeles.
He added that the Jets will likely be sending forward Jansen Harkins along with Dubois to the Los Angeles Kings.
One key part of the trade will be having Dubois signing a long-term contract extension with the Kings. Whether that will be after he's dealt to Los Angeles or if it's with the Jets as a sign-and-trade, that remains to be seen.
Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports is reporting that, if everything goes as planned, Dubois' next contract will be for eight years, but it's unclear at this time how much the deal is worth.
