St Louis Blues and Philadelphia Flyers working on blockbuster trade involving multiple players
What started as a conversation about Kevin Hayes has quickly turned into a blockbuster trade between the Philadelphia Flyers and St. Louis Blues. Reports indicate that talks began earlier this week and began about Kevin Hayes, but with the Blues looking to be competitive next season the deal quickly grew.
Hearing that this Flyers trade has been in the works for a few days, and it sounds like it's a big deal. Seems like if it's finalized, it's more than Hayes heading out to STL.
The full details of the trade have finally begun to emerge. Anthony Sanfilippo revealed the following information.
Up to four Flyers NHL players were potentially involved in this discussion.
At one point three were part of the deal.
Sounds like at the moment it's two - Hayes and Sanheim.
The complication surrounds a Blues player, believed to be Torrey Krug, not willing to waive his NTC to come to the Flyers.
However, Briere is working to see if he can flip Krug to a team for whom he would waive his NTC.
The Flyers would get one of the Blues late first rounders
This deal remains fluid at this time.
