Toronto Maple Leafs interested in making HUGE trade to acquire two defensemen from one team
The Toronto Maple Leafs are notoriously slow starters. The month of October hasn't been kind to the Leafs, who are known for their sluggish play, before eventually figuring things out. After taking over for Kyle Dubas, Brad Treliving has tried to break the bad habits of his team.
To do so though, Treliving might be forced to look outside of the organization to find help. This summer Treliving tried to alter the team's makeup by trying to sign both Luke Schenn and Radko Gudas. Unfortunately Treliving was unsuccessful signing both, so it appears he'll be forced to look at the trade route to alter his defense.
According to Elliotte Friedman, the Leafs new General Manager, may be looking at his former team to help solve his issues.

With both Jake McCabe and Timothy Liljegren out of the Leafs lineup injured, the team could use this major upgrade to improve their team. If the Leafs were to add both players the team would be far tougher to play against defensively, something that the team really needs.
