The rumours surrounding the Boston Bruins and goaltender Linus Ullmark has been running rampant since their elimination from the playoffs. Now it seems as though a trade is close, although one isn't done yet.
According to the 2 Pad Stack podcast and Dominic Tiano who covers the Bruins, Linus Ullmark has officially waived his no trade clause, which is the first step to a deal getting done.
Ullmark, 30, played in 40 games for the Bruins this past season compiling a record of 22-10-7 with 2 shutouts a 2.57 goals against average and a .915 save percentage.
We'll see where this goes, but by all accounts, a deal appears to be close. Certainly something to keep an eye on over the coming days
