Maroon was traded from the Tampa Bay Lightning this past summer and recently underwent back surgery. Maroon recently begun skating again, but now finds himself on the verge of potentially competing for another cup.

In 49 games this season, Maroon has four goals and 12 assists for 16 points. He has also accumulated 60 minutes in penalties. Maroon brings the physical style that the Boston Bruins love so much and should be a welcome addition to their fourth line.
