Some hockey players as highly touted as they may have been coming out of junior don't find the success even if they're drafted in the first round. Especially in the National Hockey League.
This is indeed the case 2015 first-round pick (15th overall), Zachary Senyshyn who was selected by the Boston Bruins. Despite early high hopes, his game was never able to translate to the NHL. as a result, he's decided to leave North America; take a look.
Former 15th overall pick at the 2015 NHL Entry Draft Zach Senyshyn is taking his game to Germany. #NHLBruins
The Canadian forward has signed with the Schwenninger Wild Wings of the DEL and will report to training camp in 10 days.
Senyshyn, 26, has played in just 16 games across parts of 4 seasons in the NHL with the Bruins and Ottawa Senators, tallying just 3 points, 2 goals and 1 assist.
It's always sad to see a first rounder, especially one with so much promise at one time give up on their dream and head overseas, but hopefully he can find his game with the Wild Wings.
