Earlier this session, fans became concerned about Boston Bruins Play-By-Play announcer Jack Edwards as his reaction to plays are slower than they've ever been. Last night was the lates cause for concern.
The Boston Bruins took on the Detroit Red Wings last night and on a goal call, Edwards seemed laboured and slow, making people once again question whether or not Edwards should continue; take a look.
Edwards still has his trade mark exuberant goal calls, but the slowness of his calls are more evident now than they've ever been. Especially when he says the words Ville Husso.
Whether you love him or hate him Jack Edwards is one of the most recognizable voices in hockey, for more than one reason. At this point though, with the slowness of his game calling, it's past time for him to call it a career.
