Tyler Bertuzzi plays the pest perfectly and gets Nick Cousins riled up
When the Boston Bruins gave up a 1st round pick for Tyler Bertuzzi at the trade deadline, this is exactly what they were looking for. The winger can put up points, but the mainstay of his game is the ability to get under opponent's skin, and he was doing just that Monday night as the Bruins faced off with the Florida Panthers in game one of the opening round of the NHL playoffs.
As Bertuzzi and and Florida's Nick Cousins were heading for a change, Bertuzzi casually grabbed Cousins stick away from him and brought it with him to his own bench. This didn't sit well with Cousins (surprise!), and he gave Bertuzzi a couple of shoves as he was trying to get himself situated. Bertuzzi took it in stride, but did slam Cousins stick on the floor of the bench when Cousins skated away.
The Bruins currently lead the series one-game-to-none after winning 3-1 Monday night.
