HIs family knew it was coming, but that likely didn't make it any easier. Chris Snow, an Assistant General Manager with the Calgary Flames, has passed away after a courageous battles with ALS.
Chris's wife Kelsie says her husband's legacy will live on through organ donation.
"Today we hugged Chris for the last time and said goodbye as he went to give four people the gift of life by donating his kidneys, liver and lungs. We are deeply broken and deeply proud. In life and in death, Chris never stopped giving. We walk forward with his light guiding us.
The Snow family was told earlier this week that Chris would not wake up from his current coma. On Tuesday, he went into cardiac arrest and became unresponsive, suffering a traumatic brain injury due to lack of oxygen. Snow was diagnosed with ALS in 2019, just a short time after being promoted to Flames AGM. Our sincere condolences to Chris's family, friends, and the Calgary Flames organization.
