One Player Claimed as Many Others Hit the Waiver Wire Saturday
Waiver wire news has come in for Satuday and it's a busy one. First off, a player placed on waivers yesterday by the New York Rangers has been snagged. Ty Emberson is now a member of the San Jose Sharks. All other players on waivers Friday have cleared.
Meanwhile, with opening night getting ever closer, teams are trimming the fat from their rosters and putting players on waivers in the hopes of getting them to the AHL. However, that depends on whether someone is claimed. Here's the list:

Buffalo Sabres: Devin Cooley, Dustin Tokarski, Justin Richards.
Edmonton Oilers: Forwards Drake Caggiula, Greg McKegg.
Ottawa Senators: Lassi Thomson, Josh Currie, Dillon Heatherington, Garrett Pilon.
New York Rangers: Jake Leschyshyn.
Nashville Predators: Anthony Angello, Kevin Gravel, Troy Grosenick, Jordan Gross
Vegas Golden Knights: Byron Froese, Mason Geertsen, Dysin Mayo, Gage Quinney, Sheldon Rempal, Jonas Rondbjerg.
