Jonathan Toews makes heartwarming gesture, gives back to the children of Chicago before final game as a Blackhawk
Last night, Jonathan Toews played his last game in a Chicago Blackhawks uniform as it was announced by general manager Kyle Davidson, the captain wouldn't be re-signed in the offseason.
As a result, media coverage and fanfare were at an all time high for Chicago's last game of the season against the Philadelphia Flyers. Toews couldn't leave Chicago without doing one last good thing. prior to the game he donated tickets to youth hockey players so they could watch him play his final game in person, take a look:

Although he hasn't announced anything yet, the feeling that his final game in Chicago might be his last NHL contest is real.
If that is so, Toews will end his career with 1067 games played scoring 372 goals and adding 511 assists for a total of 883 points across his 15 year NHL career.
