Columbus Blue Jackets goalie leaves the team for personal reasons
The Columbus Blue Jackets currently sit dead last in the NHL. After a disappointing season the team finds themselves as a potential destination for Connor Bedard. But despite the poor on ice performance one thing is for sure and that is the Columbus Blue Jackets management group is first class.
After doing right by Jonathan Quick, it is clear why players want to play for Jarmo Kekalainen.
Today the Blue Jackets announced that starting goaltender Elvis Merzlikins was being granted a leave from the team for personal reasons.
#CBJ announce that Elvis Merzlikins has returned back to Latvia to be with his family as his grandmother is seriously ill.
