Mitch Marner comments on nearly being sliced open by a skate
Mitch Marner is one of the Maple Leafs most important player and just two weeks out of the playoffs the Maple Leafs had a serious scare. During the 2nd period Marner falls along the side boards when he's stepped on by a member of the Blue Jackets.
Luckily on the play Marner avoided injury and after the game he was asked about the play.
Pretty lucky I got the cut-proof stuff on my wrists but not on my legs.
After all the injuries we've seen this year it's great to see one of the league's best players avoid injury on this play.
