Stars Domi fined for incident late in game 3 of WCF
Game three of the Western Conference Final featured Jamie Benn being ejected for an incident less than three minutes into the game and fans throwing popcorn at Golden Knights goaltender Adin Hill but an incident between Max Domi and Mark Stone has resulted in Domi being $5000 lighter in the wallet.
Domi, who is no stranger to the physical side of the game, slashed Stone with less than two minutes to play in the third period of Vegas' 4-0 win over the Stars to take a 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven series, game four is to be played in Dallas Thursday night.
With their backs against the wall. It's possible that the Stars will be without their captain and with Domi receiving a fine it should be noted that Dallas may not have it in them to come back down 3-0. To their detriment, they let the game get away from them early and were never able to recover.
If the Stars want to extend the series, they need to regroup and do less of the things that caused them to lose focus in game three and focus on what allowed them to make it this far into the spring.
