Corey Perry Officially Signs One-Year Deal With Oilers
The Edmonton Oilers and free agent forward Corey Perry have officially agreed on a one-year contract worth a $775k AAV plus performance bonuses. It has been revealed that Perry will wear #90 with the Oilers.
The 38 year old had his contract terminated by the Chicago Blackhawks in November. After an internal investigation it was deemed that Perry's actions were against Chicago's code of conduct.
The former Hart Trophy winner has scored four goals and nine points in 16 games this season.
Perry is joining a surging Oilers squad who is currently riding a franchise-record 13-game winning streak.
