Evander Kane skating in mens league under hilarious pseudonym
The National Hockey League offseason is well underway and while players have different ideas to stay in shape and prepare for next season it appears that Edmonton Oilers Left Winger Evander Kane has chosen to play on a men's league team under a pseudonym.
The 31-year-old Kane who has at times been a polarizing player finished last season with 28 points in an injury-riddled 41 games has been skating this summer under the alias F.A. A.F.O.
The name he has chosen isn't surprising and quite frankly brilliant as it pays homage to what he said during the Oilers' most recent playoff series against the Stanley Cup Champion Vegas Golden Knights. Kane, who tangled with Knights Keegan Kolesar and landed some nasty body shots was asked about the play and he responded with <>
Although injured for half the season, fans grew to love Kane and he even became close to Oilers fan Cecily Eklund. Kane appears to have turned the page on the image he had created for himself early in his career and embraced the role of an ambassador for the Oilers and embraced the city.
