Florida Panthers forward does embarrassing job selling; he's cut
Florida Panthers Steven Lorenz was high-sticked by Boston Bruins Mason Lohrei late in the second period, and although it was a high stick, it didn't look too bad, until Lorenz did his best sell job trying to convince the officials he had been cut.
The high stick probably wasn't that bad, and, too be perfectly honest, Lorenz could have aggravated the area itself when he put his finger in his mouth across his lips and gums, but that doesn't mean it didn't actually hurt.
But take a look, and you be the judge:
The game had been relatively even to that point; however, during the four minute power play, Florida scored twice within minutes to take a commanding lead into the third.
It would be a shame the series was going to be decided with plays such as what transpired between Lorenz and Lohrei, but as a game of inches, that's hockey.
