The National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety is going to be busy after a rather chaotic game between the Minnesota Wild and Winnipeg Jets, first order of business to decide the punishment on Wild forward Ryan Hartman
The DoPS announced today that they were going to have a hearing with Hartman regarding his hit on Nikolaj
Ehlers, take a look:
Minnesota's Ryan Hartman will have a hearing today for Interference against Winnipeg's Nikolaj Ehlers Hartman was assessed a two minute minor for interference and a minor for roughing as a result of the scrum after.
Ehlers had a very hard time getting off the ice, wincing after finally regaining his skates.
With the track record of the DoPS it's really hard to say what the precedent would be here, the only thing we can do is wait and see.
